Dr. Daniel Crosby

Meet Orion's Chief Behavioral Officer, Daniel Crosby, Ph.D.

Dr. Daniel Crosby is the Chief Behavioral Officer at Orion. In this role, he develops behavioral tools, training, and technology for financial advisors to allow for the practical application of behavioral science.

Dr. Crosby is a psychologist and behavioral finance expert who helps organizations understand the intersection of mind and markets. His first book, Personal Benchmark: Integrating Behavioral Finance and Investment Management, was a New York Times bestseller. 

His second book, The Laws of Wealth, was named the best investment book of 2017 by the Axiom Business Book Awards and has been translated into 10 languages. His latest work, The Behavioral Investor, was Axiom's best investment book of 2019 and is a comprehensive look at the neurology, physiology and psychology of sound financial decision-making. 

When he's not decoding market psychology, Daniel is a father of 3, a fanatical follower of the St. Louis Cardinals, an explorer of the American South, and an amateur hot sauce chef.

Naomi Win

Meet Orion's Behavioral Analyst, Naomi Win, Psy.D.

Dr. Naomi Win is the Behavioral Analyst at Orion, leveraging applied psychology to deepen advisor-client relationships, augment investor resilience, and fortify returns in times of turbulence.

Dr. Win draws on clinical practice and current research to clarify the psychological factors that shape decision-making. By mapping the cognitive and emotional drivers that define financial behaviors, she upskills those seeking adaptive strategies to enhance both well-being and wealth.

Dr. Win received her master's degree in Psychoanalysis from Brunel University of London and her Doctorate of Psychology from the University of Colorado, Denver.

Outside of analyzing investor behavior, Naomi enjoys time with her three sons, good food with friends, and movies by herself.
