  • Cloud-Based Data Sharing with Snowflake: A new collaboration with Snowflake advances Orion’s industry leadership in empowering advisors with immediate data access via a seamless experience across all major cloud infrastructures.
  • AI-Powered Meeting Agendas: Orion introduced AI-powered meeting agendas inside of Portfolio View, allowing advisors to create auto-generated meeting agendas. Leveraging portfolio analytics, financial planning, CRM notes, and the power of AI, this innovative feature streamlines the preparation process for advisors, enhancing efficiency in client meetings. According to Orion’s 2025 Advisor Wealthtech survey, 68% of advisors currently use AI-powered tools with 43% of those advisors planning increased AI investments in 2025.
  • New Tech Upgrades: The company’s latest technology includes Redtail CRM updates to boost enterprise efficiency and improve collaboration; and advisor trading and compliance upgrades to streamline workflows and oversight.  Next quarter, Orion is launching an enhanced search feature that enables advisors to locate data across all Orion systems seamlessly. This functionality will initially debut in the Advisor Portal, specifically supporting new account opening. It empowers users to access information that resides in any connected system, streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.

  • Wealthtech and Investor Survey Insights:  Orion unveiled the results of its third annual Advisor Wealthtech Survey and inaugural Investor Survey at the Ascent conference, providing insights to help financial advisors build strong client connections and accelerate firm growth.
