At Align University, you arrive with a goal, choose your path, and spend two focused days working directly with the people who know Redtail and Orion best.

Every session is built around real-world processes — not abstract concepts. You’ll walk through scenarios that reflect how firms actually operate and leave with skills you can put to work the moment you return to your office.

Day One

  • Foundations Track: For users who want to build confidence in core Redtail skills and establish more consistent everyday processes. Ideal if you’re newer to Redtail or looking to reinforce the fundamentals your whole team works from.
  • Perspectives Track: For experienced Redtail users who are ready to go further. This track focuses on refining workflows, using data more intentionally, and getting more strategic value out of the tools you already know.

  • All Redtail attendees come together for focused topic sessions, hands-on workshops, and one-on-one consultations with Redtail trainers. This is where ideas turn into action.

Orion Track

Day One 

Get grounded in the tools and features you use most. Day One focuses on building confidence in Orion’s core capabilities — from navigating the platform more efficiently to gaining clearer visibility into your data and client information. Sessions are paced to build on each other, so you leave Day One with a stronger foundation and a sharper sense of where to go deeper.

Day Two 

Day Two shifts to focused, topic-driven workshops led by Orion trainers who specialize in the areas you want to go deeper on. This is where you move from understanding the platform to using it more strategically — applying what you learned on Day One to more complex reporting, workflows, and use cases specific to your firm.

If your firm runs on both Redtail and Orion, this path was built for you. Best of Both lets you spend meaningful time on each platform — not a surface-level overview of both, but a full day dedicated to each. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how your tools connect and where there’s room to tighten the handoffs between them.

Who should attend Align University?

Align University is ideal for advisors, operations teams, and anyone who uses Redtail, Orion, or both to manage client data and reporting.

How is Align University structured?

Each event includes guided instruction, hands-on training, and opportunities to learn directly from Redtail and Orion trainers. Sessions are organized so you can focus on Redtail, Orion, or a combination of both.

What is the difference between Align University and Redtail University?

Redtail University focuses exclusively on Redtail CRM, offering sessions designed to help users get more out of the platform. Align University expands on that by incorporating both Redtail and Orion Technology content, organized into three tracks — a Redtail track, an Orion track, and a Best of Both track. This makes it easy for teams to attend together, with each person selecting the track that best fits their role, all within the same event.

Do I need prior experience?

We recommend at least six months of experience using Redtail or Orion so you can focus on deeper concepts and practical application.

Is there a virtual option?

Align University is an in-person experience. If you’re looking for virtual or on-demand learning, explore our other Redtail and Orion training resources.

What should I bring?

Bring a laptop or tablet with your Redtail and/or Orion login credentials ready to go. A charging cable is a good idea, and so is a list of processes or questions you’ve been meaning to dig into — you’ll have the option to schedule a consultation to work through them directly with trainers.

Is food provided?

Yes. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided both days.
