From Ironman to Industry Leader
Todd's journey into the financial industry was serendipitous. While training for an Ironman triathlon, Todd and Dave spent countless hours talking about life, business, and their shared values. Eventually, their conversations led to the founding of Caliber Wealth Management, where they combined Dave's industry experience with Todd's leadership skills.
"That year of training taught us so much — about dedication, perseverance, and teamwork," Todd says. "Those lessons became the foundation of our firm."
Today, Caliber Wealth Management thrives on those same principles, building lasting relationships with clients and guiding them through life's financial challenges." We never had huge aspirations to be a massive firm," Todd reflects. "We love working with our clients, getting to know them deeply, and building personal relationships. That's what drives us."
Giving Hope to Clients in Need
For Todd, success isn’t measured by numbers or accolades — it’s measured by the hope he and his team can provide to clients who feel overwhelmed by financial challenges. This commitment to helping those in need is at the core of his work at Caliber Wealth Management.
“Financial struggles bring tremendous stress,” Todd shares. “We’ve had clients come into our office who couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe they’re in debt, or they’ve had major setbacks with medical bills or something else. But if we can help give them that glimmer of hope, that is really what brings us a lot of joy and satisfaction.”
The work is not always easy, Todd admits. Helping clients get out of whatever financial hole they find themselves in takes time and effort, but helping them build a plan, showing them that it’s possible — that they’re not stuck — "that’s where we find the most satisfaction,” Todd says.
Helping clients overcome financial struggles is more than just an act of goodwill; it’s a cornerstone of Caliber Wealth Management’s success. Todd sees Caliber's mission of helping people and its ability to grow as being deeply intertwined. “When we take care of our clients and help them out, they leave our office and tell their family and friends about the experience they had. That leads to more clients, which means we can help even more people.”
