Beyond the Workplace

Orion is proud to support the Foundation for Financial Planning (FFP), the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to pro bono financial planning for individuals and families facing financial hardship. As the presenting sponsor of ProBonoPlannerMatch.org, FFP's digital volunteer matching platform, Orion helps connect individuals in need with financial advisors who can provide guidance at no cost.

Since 2021, Orion has also provided access to Orion Planning for pro bono financial planning efforts, helping advisors deliver meaningful financial guidance to underserved communities, including low-income workers, seniors, military members and veterans, individuals facing serious illness, and others navigating financial challenges. Orion CEO Natalie Wolfsen serves on FFP's Board of Trustees, further supporting the organization's mission to make financial planning more accessible to those who need it most.

Supporting students through mentorship is one way Orion team members give back to their communities. For more than 13 years, team members in Omaha have partnered with the Millard Chapter of the TeamMates Mentoring Program, a school-based one-to-one mentoring initiative. They also host the annual TeamUp for TeamMates 5K, an event that now includes virtual participation from team members across the country to raise funds and awareness for youth mentoring.
