TeamMates 5k

TeamUp for TeamMates is back again for 2021—this time, with a new model. Runners can participate either in in-person on August 21 or virtually! So, lace up your shoes and join us on the track or comfortably on your treadmill at home.

In benefit of the Millard Chapter of the TeamMates Mentoring Program, the event touts three options for runners of every mile:

  • 5K
  • 2-Mile Walk
  • Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run

How does it Work for In-Person Runners?
Register for the event by August 11, 2021 then on Saturday, August 21, meet us at the Orion headquarters (17605 Wright St, Omaha, NE). The in-person Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5k and 2 mile walk at 8:30 a.m.

Your race results will be published on the TeamUp for TeamMates website here on Tuesday, August 31.

As a participant, you’ll receive a t-shirt and a Finisher medal on the day of the event. A prize of $100 will be awarded for the top overall male and female finishers in the 5K.


How Does it Work for Virtual Runners?
Register for the event by Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Upon registration, you will enter the name you wish to be published with your race results.

Next, run your race distance sometime between registration and August 14, tracking your distance and time through an app or system of your choosing. After you complete your distance, upload your results here. The deadline for uploading your race time is Saturday, August 14, 2021. All results will be published on Tuesday, August 31 on the race website.

All participants will receive a t-shirt and a Finisher medal, to be mailed out after all race times have been received. A prize of $100 will be awarded for the top overall male and female finishers in the 5K.

Absolutely! Just upload your results here when you’re finished.

  • When I’m finished with my virtual race, how do I upload my results?

After you’ve completed your distance, click here to upload your time.

  • Is there a refund for the event?

There will be no refunds after you have officially registered for the TeamUp for TeamMates event. All proceeds will go to the Millard Chapter of the TeamMates Mentoring Program.
